The classes have toned-down variations of actual boxing drills, including boxing bag workouts, boxing techniques, body-weight exercise, and core workouts.

In competitive boxing, boxers undergo years of rigorous and systematic training in phases so they can give their best performance at national- and international-level competitions like National Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympics, and Professional Boxing. It needs strong skills coupled with ring craft, strategy, and tactics. Boxing at cult.fit is a form of high-Intensity workout. It uses basic boxing skills, drills, and conditioning. The classes at Cult are designed to avoid the risk of injuries. So it doesn’t involve any body contact, sparring sessions, or boxing competitions.
Any advice for first-time Fitness Boxers at Cult?
First, you don’t have to be at a certain level of fitness to get started. Although Fitness Boxing is a group class, the workouts are designed to be adapted to all fitness levels. The trainers will ensure proper care and adapt the intensity of the workout, whether you’re a beginner or otherwise. Also, if you’re attending Fitness Boxing for the first time, you should go slow, listen to your body, and not over-exert yourself — this applies to all fitness classes in general too. Boxing is an art, it will take time to master. We need to be patient, especially with this form of workout.
